A major tragedy was averted on the Ajni Railway Bridge after a young man acted swiftly to save a woman attempting suicide. According to information received, the woman had climbed onto the bridge wall and was preparing to jump.
Sensing the gravity of the situation, an alert youth present at the spot quickly approached her from behind and managed to pull her to safety. His timely and courageous action prevented a serious incident and saved the woman’s life.
