A man was arrested in Buxar for allegedly plotting to assassinate Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Acting on a tip-off, police raided a house in the Simri police station area and took the accused into custody.
The accused, identified as Aman Tiwari, is a resident of Asha Padri in Simri. According to Buxar SP Shubham Arya, he was allegedly conspiring to target the Prime Minister and had contacted a foreign agency in connection with the plan.
Proposal Sent to CIA
During the investigation, police found that the accused had reportedly sent a proposal to the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), seeking a large sum of money in exchange for carrying out the plot. He had also allegedly asked for 22 days to execute the plan.
Electronic Devices Seized
Police recovered a laptop and other electronic equipment from the accused’s residence during the raid. These devices are currently being examined to gather further evidence related to the alleged conspiracy.
Based on information provided by the main accused, two more individuals were also arrested. All three are being questioned to uncover the full extent of the plot and its motive.
Officials said the investigation is ongoing, and further links are being probed to ensure every aspect of the alleged conspiracy is thoroughly examined.
