With the aim of providing uninterrupted, safe, and quality power supply to citizens during the monsoon, MSEDCL (Mahavitran) has rapidly undertaken pre-monsoon maintenance and repair work. Due to this planned campaign, power supply will remain temporarily suspended in some areas under the Mahal and Civil Lines divisions of Nagpur city on Saturday, April 11.
In the Mahal division, work will be carried out on the Nandanvan feeder from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Consequently, power supply will be shut off in Nandanvan Main Road, Mangalmurti Chowk, Nandanvan area, Hasanbagh, and Women’s College Road.
Similarly, in the Civil Lines division, power supply will be suspended from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM in the following areas: Utkarsh Nagar, Friends Colony, Vastushilpa Colony, MHADA Colony, Narmada Colony, Pushpasandhya, Sachin Society, Bornala, Manish Society, Maple Regency, Phalke Layout, Kolbaswami, Barde Layout, Welcome Society, Makardhokda, Venuka Wasim, Ambika Sahaniwas, Tulsi Park, Samaj Bhushan Society, Virchakra Colony, Adivasi Colony, Adarsh Colony, Krantisurya Nagar, Shramik Society, and Jagdish Nagar.
This maintenance is crucial to provide better service to consumers by avoiding technical faults during the monsoon. MSEDCL has expressed regret for the short-term inconvenience caused by this technical work and has appealed to citizens to cooperate positively with this campaign for the sake of quality power service.
