Renowned Singer Asha Bhosle has been admitted to Breach Candy Hospital following a heart attack. She is in the Intensive Cardiac Unit of the hospital.
The 92-year-old versatile singer is said to be in critical situation. However, details of her health condition is not known.
Granddaughter Zanai issues statement
Asha Bhosle’s granddaughter Zanai Bhosle said on social media that the singer has been hospitalised due to extreme exhaustion and a chest infection, requesting privacy for the family as treatment continues.
“My grandmother, Asha Bhosle, due to extreme exhaustion and suffering a chest infection, has been admitted to hospital and we request you to value our privacy. Treatment is ongoing and hopefully everything will be well and we shall update you positively.”
She is currently receiving treatment in the Emergency Medical Services unit, according to hospital doctor Pratit Samdani.
