NTPC Mouda concluded the observance of National Safety Month 2026, held from 04th March to 31st March 2026, through a series of initiatives aimed at strengthening safety awareness, enhancing risk preparedness, and reinforcing a safety culture across the station.
The month-long programme commenced with an opening ceremony comprising flag hoisting, NTPC Geet, safety pledge, safety awareness rally, and a safety skit, followed by addresses from Shri Joseph Bastian, Head of Project, GM (O&M), GM (Maintenance), GM (Projects), and safety department officials. During the official addresses, it was reiterated that NTPC Mouda remains committed to ensuring a safe, secure, and zero-accident workplace, aligned with NTPC’s larger vision of operational excellence.
A wide range of employee engagement and capability-building activities were organized during the observance, including safety slogan and suggestion competitions, safety quiz, Katha-Sagar sessions, PPE competitions, risk assessment videos, training programmes, mega pep-talks, and focused awareness campaigns. Special initiatives such as the Safe Behaviour Recognition Scheme (SBRS) for contract workers, Ladies Club kitchen safety training, and live fire demonstration sessions further strengthened the station’s proactive safety framework.The closing ceremony featured award distribution, sharing of safety performance insights, and a CPR-based safety skit, emphasizing emergency preparedness and life-saving awareness.
NTPC Mouda remains committed towards maintaining the standards of industrial safety, operational discipline, and workforce well-being.
