At least four people lost their lives after a cruise boat carrying 31 passengers sank in the Jabalpur district of Madhya Pradesh on Thursday, officials said.
The accident took place in a river near the city, where the boat reportedly capsized due to overloading. Locals and authorities quickly reached the spot following the incident.
Rescue operations are currently in progress, with police and disaster response teams searching for missing passengers. Several people have been rescued, but the exact number is yet to be confirmed.
