Passengers travelling from Nagpur to Mumbai by the Vidarbha Express faced severe inconvenience on Thursday evening after the train remained delayed at Nagpur railway station. The situation worsened due to sudden rainfall, leaving several passengers stranded at Ajni Railway Station.
As redevelopment work is currently underway at Ajni railway station, many areas reportedly lack proper roofing and shelter facilities. With rain pouring unexpectedly, passengers, including women, children and senior citizens, were seen getting drenched while waiting for the train. Commuters have urged the railway administration to make immediate temporary arrangements to protect passengers from rain and ensure basic facilities during the ongoing redevelopment work.
