A late-night dispute outside a popular bar in Nagpur’s Sadar area escalated into chaos after a woman allegedly misbehaved with police personnel and grabbed a constable by the collar. The incident occurred outside Ice Cube Restaurant on Mount Road after an argument reportedly broke out between customers and the bar management, creating a tense atmosphere at the spot.
According to police officials, a man and a woman had visited the bar on May 18 when a disagreement allegedly erupted between them and the restaurant manager over an undisclosed matter. As the argument intensified, the manager contacted the police emergency helpline 112 seeking immediate assistance.
Following the complaint, Head Constable Shyam Chaudhary and constable Kishore Baraikar from Sadar Police Station reached the location to handle the situation. However, police claimed that the woman began verbally abusing the officers and demanded that a panchnama be conducted on the spot.
