The Lions Club of Nagpur Legend has elected its new team of office-bearers for the 2026-27 session. The newly elected body will be headed by Shantanu Khandelwal as President, MJF Rajeev Khandelwal as Secretary, and Ankur Kejdiwal as Treasurer. Pallavi Wanjari, Dr Sanjay Deotale, and Ajay Singh have been elected as Vice Presidents.
The installation ceremony will be conducted by Dr Ripal Rane, Past District Governor and noted surgeon from Wani. During the event, the club will also launch a special newspaper supplement showcasing the organisation’s values, activities, and upcoming charitable initiatives.
As part of its planned projects for the year, the club will distribute medical equipment, school kits, and self-employment support tools to the needy. It also announced cataract surgery camps in tribal and rural areas as a new signature initiative, while continuing its welfare and support programmes in Melghat and nearby regions.
