Music lovers will get an opportunity to relive the golden era of Hindi cinema as SURVANDITA Musical Group presents ‘Black and White Special’, a programme dedicated to the timeless melodies of Geeta Dutt, Asha Bhosle, Mohammed Rafi and Kishore Kumar.
The musical evening will be held on June 14 at 6 pm at Scientific Hall, 8 Rasta Chowk, Laxmi Nagar. The concept for the programme has been developed by Uma Raghuraman and Hemant Darvekar, while Gopal K Iyer is guiding the presentation. Vijay Jathe will host the event.
A host of singers, including Uma Raghuraman, Hemant Darvekar, Hitendra Moon, Sanjay Gosavi and others, will render some of the most memorable songs from Bollywood’s black-and-white era. Mahendra Dhole and his orchestra will provide musical accompaniment. The organisers have announced that entry to the programme will be free.
