In line with NTPC’s commitment to sustainable development and the Government of India’s vision of increasing the share of green energy in the country’s energy mix, NTPC Mouda has accelerated the implementation of its 1.4 MW Ground-Mounted Solar Power Plant.
Marking a significant milestone in the project’s progress, installation of the first solar panels commenced on 24th June 2026 following the successful completion of the superstructure works.
To commemorate the occasion, a Pooja Ceremony was organized at the project site in the presence of Shri Joseph Bastian, Executive Director, NTPC Mouda, Shri S.C. Das, GM (O&M) along with other officials and representatives of the Kirloskar team.
The project is expected to contribute towards NTPC Mouda’s renewable energy initiatives and reinforce the station’s commitment to environmentally sustainable power generation. The commencement of solar panel installation marks an important step towards the timely commissioning of the solar plant and supports NTPC’s broader objective of promoting clean and green energy solutions.
