A man with critical injuries was found abandoned outside a hospital in Nagpur’s Lakadganj area in the early hours of Sunday, prompting a police investigation into whether the case is a murder or a hit-and-run.
According to preliminary information, between 3:00 am and 4:00 am, two unidentified persons allegedly left the seriously injured man outside NHS Hospital near Jagnade Chowk before fleeing the spot. Local residents later shifted him to Mayo Hospital for treatment.
The victim succumbed to his injuries during treatment.The Lakadganj Police Station are investigating all possible angles, including whether the death was the result of a homicidal assault or a hit-and-run accident. The identity of the deceased and the two unidentified persons is yet to be established.
