The owner of Magic Krish Spa and Salon Centre has been booked for allegedly running a prostitution racket under the guise of a spa and salon in Nagpur’s Pratap Nagar area. Acting on specific information, the Social Security Branch of the Crime Branch conducted a raid on Thursday and rescued two young women allegedly involved in the illegal activity.
According to police, the accused has been identified as Somesh Rajesh Mandle (30), a resident of Hill Top near Kalimata Temple. He allegedly operated Magic Krish Spa and Salon Centre near the Third Bus Stop in Gopal Nagar.
After receiving a tip-off, the Social Security Branch first sent a decoy customer to verify the information before carrying out the raid.Police said two women were found at the spa during the operation. Preliminary investigation revealed that the accused allegedly induced women with the promise of higher earnings and forced them to provide sexual services to customers.A case has been registered against the accused at Pratap Nagar Police Station under relevant provisions of law. Further investigation is underway.
The operation was carried out by the Social Security Branch under the supervision of Police Inspector Darshan Patil and his team.
