An emergency power failure due major electrical fault occurred in the MSEDCL main incomer panel supplying power to the Pench II Water Treatment Plant (WTP) at approximately 12:20 PM today.
The disruption in the MSEDCL power supply has temporarily affected the plant’s treated water pumping operations. The MSEDCL team is currently undertaking repair work to restore the power supply. Restoration is expected to take some time.
Consumers in the following command areas may experience no water supply, low water pressure, or partial water supply during today’s evening distribution cycle (on 21st July) until power supply and normal plant operations are restored.
