The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast very heavy rainfall at isolated places in Nagpur district over the next 24 hours. Similar weather conditions are also expected in Amravati, Bhandara and Gadchiroli districts as monsoon activity remains active across the Vidarbha region.
The IMD and state authorities have advised residents to remain alert, avoid unnecessary travel during periods of intense rainfall, stay away from waterlogged roads, overflowing drains and low-lying areas, and strictly follow instructions issued by the local administration. Citizens are also urged to monitor official weather updates and take necessary precautions to ensure their safety
