The Nag Vidarbha Chamber of Commerce (NVCC) will organise an All India Hasya Kavi Sammelan on Saturday at 7 pm at Dr Vasantrao Deshpande Auditorium, Civil Lines, bringing together some of the country’s renowned humour poets for an evening of poetry, satire and entertainment.
The event will feature performances by noted poets Shashikant Yadav (Dewas), Gaurav Sharma (Mumbai), Sudip Bhola (Jabalpur), Dr Bhuvan Mohini (Indore), Dr Anil Chaubey (Varanasi) and Amit Shukla (Rewa).
NVCC President Farooq Akbani said the chamber continues to promote cultural and literary activities alongside its initiatives for trade and industry. He invited citizens to attend the programme and enjoy an evening dedicated to humorous poetry and literary expression.
NVCC Secretary CA Hemant Sarada appealed to members to collect their entry passes from the chamber office-bearers at the earliest and participate in large numbers.
