The Vidarbha State-Level Kho Kho Referee Examination will be held in Katol on July 26 as part of an initiative to improve officiating standards in the sport.
The examination is being organised by the Vidarbha Kho Kho Association, with the Houshi Kho Kho Association, Nagpur District, serving as the host organiser and the Vidarbha Youth Sports and Cultural Mandal, Katol, as the co-host.
Aspiring referees from across the Vidarbha region are expected to participate. The programme will include registration, an inaugural session, and written, practical and oral examinations to assess participants’ technical knowledge, decision-making abilities and on-field officiating skills.
Organisers said the initiative aims to develop a skilled pool of referees, strengthen the quality of officiating and promote the overall growth and professionalism of Kho Kho across the Vidarbha region.
