Heavy rainfall triggered massive traffic congestion on the Radisson Blu flyover stretch on Tuesday, bringing one of the city’s busiest corridors to a near standstill. Top-angle visuals showed kilometres-long queues of vehicles stretching across the flyover as commuters remained stranded amid slow-moving traffic.
The continuous downpour, coupled with only one carriageway being open due to ongoing roadwork, significantly disrupted vehicular movement, causing long delays for office-goers and other travellers. Traffic remained heavily affected on the Radisson Blu flyover stretch as authorities worked to manage the situation.
Motorists have been advised to avoid non-essential travel, use alternate routes wherever possible, and follow traffic advisories as heavy rain continues to impact several parts of Nagpur.
