Nagpur’s Wardha Road witnessed massive traffic congestion on Tuesday, with all major flyovers along the corridor heavily jammed. The worst-affected stretch was between Chichbhavan Flyover and Radisson Blu, one of the busiest entry routes into the city, where traffic remained at a standstill for over 2 to 3 hours.
Ongoing rain and congestion have severely impacted vehicular movement on the corridor.
Passengers were left stranded inside buses and private vehicles as long queues extended across the flyovers. Commuters travelling towards the airport, MIHAN, and central Nagpur faced major delays, with traffic moving at a crawl.
Motorists have been advised to avoid the Wardha Road stretch and use alternate routes until the congestion eases.
