Heavy waterlogging was reported in Sai Nagar, behind the Centre Point Hotel near Nagpur Airport, following intense rainfall that lashed the city on Tuesday.
Several vehicles were left partially and completely submerged as rainwater accumulated rapidly on the roads, leaving motorists stranded.
The incident once again exposed the area’s poor drainage infrastructure, with residents facing major inconvenience and traffic movement severely affected. Authorities have urged citizens to avoid waterlogged stretches and travel only if necessary as heavy rain continues across several parts of Nagpur.
