India International Travel Exhibition begins

India International Travel Exhibition (IITE), India’s premier travel & tourism exhibition kicked off at South Central Zone Cultural Centre, Civil Lines, in the city on Saturday.

Yuvraj Padole, Deputy Director Events and Marketing, MP Tourism inaugurated the exhibition. Ajay K Sharma, Deputy Director, Rajasthan Tourism and Anurag Gupta, MD; IITE were the guests.

The three day travel exhibition will focus on international and domestic tourist destinations, hotels and resorts, and other allied services.

Participants at the exhibition are displaying and providing information of their destinations, holiday, travel, tour packages and other services.

The basic objective of the event is to boost tourism both domestic and internationally. It is believed that the inflow of domestic and outbound tourists will increase in coming months and Nagpur will play a vital role in promotion of tourism.

It is an attempt to create a one stop shop for three days for the consumers to pickup destination of their choice. The time at which IITE is being held is perfect for summer vacations, weekend getaways, honeymoon and round-the-year travel, vacations & business plans.

People from Nagpur and nearby cities will be benefited with the exhibition, who will be offered variety of attractive packages. The exhibition will remain open from 11.30 am to 8 pm till February 3 and there is no entry fee.
