Chitnavis Centre had organised an informative session on “Shri Samarth Ramdas Swami’s Manache Shlok” under their regular platform, Parampara.

Immortal shlokas ‘Manache Shloks’ wriiten by Samarth Ramdas Swami is the needs for today’s stressfull life of the people.

Trustee, Chitnavis Centre, Vilas Kale unraveled the deep meaning of some of the couplets of Manache Slok. He had been through some tragedy in his growing years, and that was the time, when  he was drawn to Samarth Ramdas Swami’s teachings.

He shared his own experience, how Manache Shlok helped him get over the situation and lead a path to success. He explained the teachings in very easy and in a simple manner, in a mix of English and Marathi language, which fascinated the audience.  He emphasized on how to set our goals with our own deficiencies and also how to control our anger and to be peaceful in any adverse situation.

He explained through real life examples to shed light on the words in the shlokas. He said that the shlokas are wealth of teaching, how to secure goals and how to excel in achieving them. He recited some shlokas to explain the meaning in a user friendly way.

According to Vilas, there are many similarities in the preaching of Samarth Ramdas Swami and Raman Maharishi. ” Their preaching was to find out the consicousness that is surging through the ones body and mind through “I”. Thought is content of mind while Mind is never constant., but “I” awareness is always present. Our body is in constant change, one must find out what is this surging “I”. Attachment to body should not become an obsession”. he mentioned.

The talk was followed by question and answer session. Vilas Kale answered each question with details and practical examples. Overall, the discourse was very well received by the audience.
