Bounce, India’s first smart urban mobility solution, today announced their partnership with Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Limited (MMRCL) to provide cycle sharing at four metro stations across the city as part of the company’s long- term objective of addressing first and last mile connectivity issues in cities. With this partnership, Bounce will be launching 150 cycles across Nagpur which will be fully functional and available across the city’s four major metro routes.

The riders can avail services at a nominal fee of INR 1/10 mins with INR 300 subscription fee for peddle and INR 4/10 mins with INR 600 subscription fee for electric. This newest expansion brings Bounce’s total cycle fleet, which includes peddle as well as electric to 5000 spread across five cities in India – Bangalore, Chennai, Mysore, Nagpur and Pune.

Bounce cycles were launched alongside the Nagpur Metro inauguration. Commenting on the launch, Vivekananda H R, CEO and Co-Founder, Bounce said, “Our partnership with MMRCL ties into Nagpur’s goals of enabling safer, efficient, economical and sustainable mode of urban transport. Maharashtra is a key market for us and we will be soon expanding to more cities in the state. We are steadily making strides towards transforming India’s urban mobility ecosystem one city at a time and look forward to more such strategic partnerships.”
