Kshan -14th National Trial and Appellate Moot Court Competition’ 19 from Friday

G H Raisoni Law School, Nagpur has organised a three day  National Law Fest i.e. Kshan -14th National Trial and Appellate Moot Court Competition – 2019 which shall commence from Friday and will conclude on March 17. The inaugural function of the fest shall be held on  March 15 at Vivekananda Hall of the G H Raisoni Law School, at 6 pm

Justice Z. A. Haq, Judge, Bombay High Court, Nagpur Bench will be gracing the occasion as the Chief Guest of the inaugural Function, Justice V. S. Sirpurkar, Judge (Retd.) Supreme Court, Delhi will be adorning the function as the Chairperson, along with Dr. Rajan Welukar, Vice Chancellor G H Raisoni University, M. P. who shall be the guest of honour.

Total 20 teams from across the country including NLU Gujarat, NLU Odisha, DSNLU, Symbiosis Law School Pune, will be participating in the said competition. The registration for the said competition will be held on March 15 along with the Orientation and Inauguration ceremony.

The preliminary rounds of the Moot Court competition will be held on March 16, along with the quarter final round.  A carnival for the teams and the students of the college will be held along with the Personality Contest for the participants, which will be organised later in the evening.

Semi final and the final round of the Moot Court competition will be conducted on March 17. The final round will be judged by the Judges, Bombay High Court, Nagpur Bench, Justice A. S. Chandurkar, Justice P. V. Ganediwala,  and Justice Vasanti Naik, Judge (Retd.), Bombay High Court, Nagpur Bench.

The valedictory function will be held in the gracious presence of , Judge, Bombay High Court, Nagpur Bench, Justice A. S. Chandurkar who will be the Chief Guest whereas Judge, Bombay High Court, Nagpur Bench Justice P. V. Ganediwala will be the Chairperson.  Judge (Retd.), Bombay High Court, Nagpur Bench, Justice Vasanti Naik, have kindly consented to be the Guest of Honour.

All the dignitaries will address the students on several issues in the legal field. The prizes for the said competition are sponsored by well known personalities of city. Director GHRLS, Dr. Jayant Aprajit, PRO, RGI, Amit Gandhare, President, Akash Shahu and Vice President, Priyal Rahangdale, were prominently present at the press conference.
