G.H. Raisoni College of Engineering, Nagpur organized its much anticipated and happening annual festival celebrated with the theme titled“Enroute Indiaâ€Â for Antaragni, Technorion & Parakram 2019, a national level event held under central India’s premier flagship institute in which many activities were conducted recently at GHRCE campus. This grand event was inaugurated with Shivaji jayanti celebration. Dr. Dilip Peshwe, Professor, VNIT, Nagpur was the Chief guest. Students performed Dance, Lezium, Lathikathi and also played a skit on Shivaji Maharaj’s life during the inaugural function of the programme.
Wall Painting, Face-Painting, Tower Making, Jump Jet along with technical programme like Hackathon, Concrete Block Making, Googler, Web Designing, Code Stumble, Robo Soccer, Logo Designing, Techno Hunt, Paper Presentation were held under Technorion. Cultural events like, Inter Fashion Show, Classical and Folk Dance, Singing, Karaoke event were conducted on the second day of the event. The third day with the theme named as traditional day was concluded with a theme based dance, Intra Collegiate Fashion Show followed by Prize Distribution.
Total 23 events were held under Antaragni, 36 under Technorion and 30 Indoor & outdoor sports activities under parakram. Karaoke Event, Theme based dance, Junk Yard, Data Analytics Hackathon 2019, Robo-Block, Silent Disco, Sumo Wrestling, Technical Marathon, Wall Building, Web Designing, Contraption Competition dancing, singing, group dance, fashion show, skit, cricket, badminton, chess, carom, pool, table tennis and many more in which more than 3933 students participated and 397 students other than parent institute participated. The annual fest concluded with a celebrity night for the students at G H Raisoni, Hariganga Campus on 10th March, 2019 in which Mr. Darshan Raval, Indian playback singer was invited.
Harshal Nandanwar and Aniket Gupta was the winner for Website Designing Competition and Krushna Deshmukh and Ankita Belani was the runner-up. The students of Mechanical department, final year received extra ordinary response on their dance performance based on the theme “Kinnar†from the audience as well as from Dr. Preeti Bajaj, Director, GHRCE and was awarded with special trophy by the judges Hunny Khattar- Professional actor, Choreographer for Zee TV/Colors TV and Prof. Pooja Gadekar, Asst Prof-Civil Engg, GHRCE. The winners and runner up of theme based dance were awarded with trophy and cash prizes. Apporva Nikhade, Shashank Ambekar won first prize in Robo-Block competition under Technorion 2K19 and Pranav Dhanvijay, Pretik Dhanvijay stood second.
Nikhil Shivankar, Hrishikesh Bokardi, Prajwal Songalwe, Kunal Nimbalkar, Aniket Mandhe, Chaitanya Tol were the winner team of Box Cricket and Parag Kashyap, Adanat Rajput, Tanmay Yadav, Vikas Prajapati, Tanmay Kuthe, Jainam Belani were the Runner-up team. Roshan Gupta from Priyadarshini College of Engineering was the winner of Robo Soccer competition and Gaurav Meshram from GHRCE was the Runner-up. These event gave a platform to the students as they shared their talent in various forms. Dr. Preeti Bajaj, Director, GHRCE took an initiative of the event. The organizing team and members of Student Representative Council (SRC) helped in making the event successful along with Dr. R. S. Shelke, Head Mech. Dept., Dr. K. K. Jajulwar, Dean SAC, Dr. Atul Deshmukh, Sakshi R. Jaiswal, Gathering Secretary, Ankit Agrawal.
