WCL felicitates workers on “Shramotsav 2019”

The Western Coalfield limited on April 9, celebrated “Shramotsav 2019” in Umred and also felicitated it’s on the day. Chief Guest and company’s Chairman-cum Managing Director Mr. Rajiv Ranjan Mishra graced the occasion calling it a day of “Shramev Jayate”.

The workers of Kanhan, Pench, Patkheda, Nagpur and Umred region were felicitated during the Function.

The CMD said that the company has made historic success in coal production and witnessed immense transformation in Coal India subsidiary in the financial year 2018-19. He praised all the WCL workers for their contribution in the company adding that WCL is proud to honor their work.

He further said after the success achieved under Mission WCL 2.0 quality of coal is our priority.

Mrs. Anita Mishra, Reena Kumar, Anita Agrawal, Sangeeta Sharma, Director (Personnel) Dr. Sanjay Kumar, Director Technical (Operations) Mr. Manoj Kumar, Chief Vigilance Officer Mr. B. P. Sharma, Senior Representatives of the Labor Organisers,  S. Q., Saurabh Dubey, Shiv Kumar Yadav, S. H. Beg, Sudhir Ghurde, NT Masque were present.

The program’s welcome address was presented by Mr. M.K. Majumdar, Regional General Manager, Umred Region.

The program was organised by Ms. Ruhie Khan, Deputy Manager (Personnel) and Ms. Puja Agarwal, Assistant Manager (Civil).  The event concluded with national anthem.

The next “Shamotsav  2019” will be held in Wani region (Tadali) on April 12, 2019.  In this function, the WCL workers of  Wardha, Chandrapur, Ballarpur, Wani North, Majri and Wani areas will be honored.
