Sanjay Takasande has been selected as the Director (Operations) of Mahatransco . His post has been selected through direct recruitment process.
Earlier, he was working as a Regional Director of Pune Regional Department in MSEDCL. Taksande, has an experience of about 29 years in power sector.
Sanjay Takasande was present in Maharashtra State Electricity Board in 2003 as the Executive Engineer, Mumbai Headquarters. He was then working as Superintendent Engineer, Vasai, Buldana and Chief Engineer at Amravati Circle, Akola.
In the direct recruitment process in October 2015, Takasande was elected as the Executive Director (Distribution) and he was also posted in Nagpur, Gondia, Chandrapur, Amravati, Akola, Pune as well as Baramati and Kolhapur.
Taksande has an experience of 2.5 years as a Regional Director of Pune, MSEDCL ,Western Maharashtra.
Before joining the Mahatransco and Mahavitaran’s service, Takasande was working at the Central Electricity Authority of Central Government, New Delhi and at Powergrid Corporation of India, Mumbai.
