After CBSE and ICSE announced results of both Std X and Std XII board examinations, students of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) are now eagerly waiting for their outcome. The State board had a long tradition to announce the results in the last week of May and this year too results may be announced around May 24. If sources are to be believed then results may be announced soon after the Lok Sabha elections’ counting of votes, which would be held on May 23.
Sources in State board informed that valuation of answersheets is completed and other related works are in final stage. The board is also waiting for the report from all concerned centres before finalising the date of result. The board has not yet received this report. But, efforts are going on at warfooting to complete all the formalities as soon as possible and announce the date of Std XII board examinations.
However, amid all these haste board officials are in no pressure to announce the result in haste.
A senior official of the State Board informed that CBSE and ICSE had announced results of both Std X and Std XII, after which students are waiting for State board results. But, there is no pressure on employees. Entire work is going on smoothly. Valuation is almost over and other related works are about to finish. The Board is confident of maintaining its rendition of releasing the results in the last week of May. First, board will announce Std XII results and within a few days, results of Std X will be announced online.
Secretary of State Education Board Dr Ashokrao Bhosle said official announcement about dates of results will be made after entire valuation related work is completed. It is currently in final stage.
