The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) will declare the results of the HSC or Class XII results online on May 28 at 1 pm. The date was announced after the meeting of Board officials in Pune on Monday.
Candidates who appeared for the Class 12 HSC examinations, which were held from February 21 to March 20, can log on to the officials website of the board for results - mahresult.nic.in to check their scores. Students are also advised to avail third party-websites to check their scores as there are chances that the official website of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education may run slow or become unresponsive as hundreds of students will be checking their marks online after the declaration of results.
From Nagpur division, 1 lakh 66 thousand 235 candidates had appeared in the HSC examinations at 468 centers. Of these, 79 thousand 654 were girls while 86 thousand 564 were boys. Besides, 17 students belong to transgender category also took the examination. The students had to wait for a long for the results.
Now, after the date has been announced, the heartbeat parents and students have increased. Board said, marksheets would be sent to the respective colleges within a week after announcement of results online.
As per the data provided by the Nagpur division of State board, 69926 students of science stream, 65474 in arts, 22635 Commerce and 8200 MCVC students appeared in the exams. Highest, 64919 appeared in Nagpur district in 61 centres, followed by Chandrapur ( 29885 students, 80 centres), Gondia  (20853 students, 73 centres), Bhandara (18527 students, 61 centres), Wardha (18361 students, 51 centres) and Gadchiroli (13690 students, 48 centres).
