“Sunahari yaden, ek shyam suro ke nam ” a musical concert took place at IWWA Hall, Shankar Nagar Nagpur, recently.
This was the first programme organsied by “Sa Re Ga Ma cultural group”. Chief Guest for the event was, Swati Katkade and Anant Katkade, Ex Manager of Central co-operative Bank, Jalna District.
The programme began with one of the song, “Ganesh Vandna Tu sukhkarta sung by Dr. Sanjay Uttarwar. Then came a sizzling performance by Director of Swardhuny musical academy, Anshu buty, “ye mera dil pyar ka deewana”, followed by versatile singer Yogesh Asare with “darde dil darde jigar”. The audience enjoyed the musical treat by the singers at the event.
The magic of duet performances on songs like “aajkal tere mere pyar ke charche”, and many hits from 90s left the music lovers mesmerized. Evergreen songs by Mohammad Rafi were like cherry on the cake for the music lovers.
Other singers who added stars to the show were, Padmakarji Maske, Rupali Roy , Deepali Sapre and Pallavi Sahare. The stage and Light were set was done by Gajanan Sahare while the music was Pavgiven by Manwatkar and Team.
Everyone enjoyed the event to the fullest with an appreciation for all the artists present on the stage for making the event a success.
