The beautiful and attractive wall arts of the city are shedding tears on the plight that can be seen in and around the walls of Ramnagar Hill Road, which is located in the west area of the city. This beautiful artwork is also known as the “literacy theme park”.
The theme park was constructed in the area five years ago with the aim of creating awareness about the importance of education among the slum children here.
But the current condition of these murals is speaking out their sob story as piles of garbage have been accumulated near the wall in just a mere time of 5 years and the motive behind making these artworks is disappearing behind the waste that has been dumped by the citizens of the city.
Dirty water thrown out from the houses situated near the murals are adding to the due to which the odor is polluting the air which is only adding to the already worst conditions of the murals.
The citizens have demanded that Nagpur Municipal Corporation to look into this matter immediately to stagnant the haphazard consequences that might affect the people’s health residing in that area.
