Under College social responsibility Dharampeth M P.Deo memorial Science College recently organised a program in collaboration with Bhart Vikas Parishad (south west region ) to support and help poor tribals of Melghat by providing clothes to them.
In this social activity the college staff and students joined their hands and collected used clothes of all types which will be handed over to Dr. Avinash Satav incharge of Melghat project through Bharat Vikas Parishad .
In this activity president of Bharat Vikas Parishad Shri.Gulkari and Coordinator Advocate Shri .Lule helped us in coordinating this activity.
At the occasion Dr.Akhilesh Peshwe, Principal of the college,Vice Principal Dr.Archna Kulkarni ,Dr.R.B.Lanjewar IQAC coordinator and campus coordinators of the event Dr.K.M.Paturkar and prof.R.K .Kulat and students were present.
Through this ac tivity students learnt the importance of sharing and caring for needy tribal people of Melghat. Such activity teach them to be compassionate towards needy people .
For organising this important social activity Dharampeth education society’s president Advocate Ulhas Aurangabadkar and other members of the management appreciated this initiative taken by the college.
