ALAMA International ABACUS Maharashtra State Level Competition’ 19 held at Chandrapur

Alama International Abacus held its 1st Maharashtra State level competition on 10th Nov, 2019 at “New India Convent High School and Jr. College, Chandrapur”. It was a spectacular event with more than 350 students participating from different schools and ALAMA centers across Maharashtra State.

It was a splendid day that started with participants storming in from 10.30 am onwards. The competition of ALAMA ABACUS was conducted in 2 batches with more than 200 students participating from different ALAMA centers of Maharashtra. The proud dignitaries of ALAMA rendered their motivational speech during these sessions. Mrs. Padmavati Muthukumar, grabbed the opportunity & rendered a speech in Hindi for the first ever time, with the message that “ALAMA International strongly believes that every child is unique and special.

Our Institution provides the best mathematical education and logical skill development along with bridging the gap between school mathematics & ABACUS. The course is specially designed for the age group of 5 yrs to 13 yrs.” Mr. Muthukumar assured that course is delivered by well trained teachers under the guidance of the co-ordinator Mrs. Anupama Dhande .And to ensure quality continued scrutiny is done by Maharashtra Master Franchise Vani Ramji.

Next test was conducted around at 2.45 pm was for the  qualifiers of the final round of ‘Calculation Ability Test’ from different schools of Gadchandhur, Rajura, Ballarpur, Visapur, Chandrapur, Bhandravati, Ghughus, Mul, Pombhurna, Gadchiroli, Kurkheda, etc. attempted for their round of examination.

And next was the ’Oral Ability Test’ attempted by the ALAMA Master & Grand Master level students, who were challenged with various Arithmetic sums. These students showcased the ability of speed with accuracy in their calculations. After many bombarding rounds of elimination best 4 i.e. Yog Goenka, Shreyansh Abad from Wani, Atharwa Mangal Nande from Chandrapur & Avani Sadanand Bodhankar from Parbhani were the award winners.

The most awaited event of prize distribution began on time at 4.15 pm. Around 35 students from the category of ALAMA ABHYAS i.e. age 5-8 yrs were awarded on priority. The Chief Guests Prof. Suryakant B. Khanke, General Secretary, Gondwana Shikshak Prasaran Mandal-Chandrapur,  Kalpana Pradeep Pundalikar, Editor, Dainik Mahavidharbh & Hindi Mahavidharbh-Chandrapur,  Ashish R Dheer, Chairman, New India Convent High School & Jr. College-Chandrapur, Rajesh Sontakke, Manager  Business Development, The Live Nagpur graced the dais for the award ceremony.

Mrs. Kalpana Pradeep Pundalikar was so overwhelmed that she urged the public to take advantage of this course by enrolling their children & support the dedicated team of ALAMA, which is working for the Skill & Brain Development of Children. Mr. Ashish Dheer appreciated the intentions of team ALAMA for their continuous effort & encouragement to give a big & common platform for school students of various Corporate, Convent & Zilla Parishad schools. The awareness & experience created by ALAMA ABACUS was appreciated and acclaimed. Next round of awards for Mental Arithmetic category for age of 8-13 yrs was announced for more than 45 students. More than 10 Awards were also distributed to the winners of Calculation Ability. Test winners of Vianney Vidya Mandir-Ghughus, Mount Carmel Convent-Ghughus, Grace Convent School-Ghughus, Holy Family- Gadchandur, Bhavanji Bhai-Chandrapur, Sanmitra Sinik School-Chandrapur, Matoshri vidyalaya-Chandrapur, Infant Jesus-Rajura, New India Convent-Chandrapur, and Zilla Parishad-Pombhurna.
