Students Performed Their Best at The Elimination Round of Torrins-Battle

Torrins, one of India’s leading music education company is back again with the second season of battle of the bands. It had organised a competition among the schools in Maharashtra in which students of schools from Nagpur also participated. The elimination round of Central India was held at Dr Vasantrao Deshpande Hall recently.

Eleven bands performed where spectacular performance given by the students in front of the energetic crowd. The bands include like Bhilai, Burhanpur, Akola, Raigarh and Nagpur, will be competing to qualify for the grand finale which will be held in Pune. Amazing enthusiasm seen in the students participated in the contest and also the students who came to encourage their respective schools.

Teachers and directors of schools including Radhika Mehra, Principal, Centre Point School, Dabha; Mukta Chaterji, Executive Director, Centre Point School; Rohan Kapai, Director, Modern School, were the dignitaries present to encourage the unbeatable bands of their school and grace the event.

The students of Torrins are given continuous training in playing keyboards, piano, guitar, drums and vocals throughout the year. Torrins is currently teaching music in four branches of Centre Point School, Modern School, St Ursula, IRA International School, Royal Gondwana Public School in Nagpur. Every year Torrins conducts the event to provide a big platform for up and coming musicians in India. The competition is conducted at various zones across India and then the finals are conducted in Pune which will be judged by eminent personalities from the Indian Music industry.

Leading Bollywood Music Director Ehsaan Noorani of Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy fame is the Brand ambassador and one of the promoters of Torrins. The competition was judge by Savio John and Uday Iyer from Pune. The result will be announced after all the regional elimination rounds are over, on November 21. The final will be held at Blue Ridge Public School ground on December 7. The finale will be held on a grand level where audience of over 8,000 persons is expected. CEO of Torrins Sunil Sundaram, Arundhati Sathe and all the faculty members of Torrins, parents and teachers also were present.
