Now class strength will decide teachers’ salaries

It has been reported that the state government is thinking over a proposal to decide the salaries of the teachers on basis of the students registered on roll. As per information, for this purpose the commissioner of education has formed a study group. This move is really sparked problems among the teachers and they have decided to launch agitation for this. The teachers have planned to oppose any such move. They also demanded that the government should immediately cancel the decision.

As per information, 33 different study groups are formed for the proper implementation of the Right to Education Act, 2009.The issues include admission under RTE, Admission for XI student, mid day meal scheme, joining of schools, and one of the study group is entrusted with the job of checking whether the salaries of the teachers could be made on basis of the number of students enrolled in the school. The director of the education, Dinkar Patil is the chairman of the committee and they will submit its recommendations by December 31.And after that the report would be presented before the additional secretary of education.
