Bardi to Bhandewadi bus service begins

The Transport Department of Nagpur Municipal Corporation inaugurated the bus service from Bardi to Bhandewadi Railway today. Deputy Mayor Manisha Kothe waved the green flag at the inauguration.

Legislative Committee Chairperson Ad. Dharmapal Meshram, Nehru Nagar Zone Chairperson Samita Chakole, Suraj Jhodape, Mukesh Shende, Ashok Deshmukh, Rajesh Sheleke, Rajesh Sangwar were present on the occasion.Following continuous demand of the citizens to start bus service from Bardi to Bhandewadi, Legislative committee chairperson and councilor Dharmapal Meshram took the initiative and started the bus service.

From Bardi to Bhandewadi, the bus will travel via Bhandawadi railway station to Bidgaon Fata, Swaminarayan Temple, Kharbi, Iswarnagar, Bhandeplot Chowk, Sakkadara Chowk, Krida Chowk, Medical Chowk, Bus Stand and Manas Chowk.Tickets for the bus is Rs 29 and a half ticket is at Rs 15. The bus will depart from Morbhavan at 7.50, 9.35, 11.40, 13.25, 15.10, 16.55, 18.35 and depart at Bhandewadi railway station at 8.40,10.25,12.30,14.15,16.00 and 17.45.

The transport department has appealed to the locals to use the bus service. Transport Department’s Ramrao Matkar, Sukir Sontakke, Sunil Mushrif, Yogesh Navaghare, Mukesh Andhare, Rohit Mende, Navneet Ramteke, Praveen Naik were present on the occasion.
