Good news for Aapli Bus staffs, NMC to increase salaries as per regulations

A good news for Aapli Bus staffs as it has been reported that the civic administration is all set to give payment hike for the conductors and drivers of Aapli Bus run by Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC).

As per information, each employee will get a hike of approximately Rs.5000 per month.However,this decision  will make an additional financial burden of Rs.1 crore per month on NMC.The decision was come after the meeting of NMC transport committee on Monday. They also discussed about other matters like paid weekly off, 15 days paid leave for year, over-time if work is more than eight hours.

Earlier, the employees union had demanded minimum wages, special section for complaints, weekly off as per regulations and other issues had warned of an agitation if the demands were not fulfilled.And taking cognizance of the issue, the authorities conducted the meeting. The issues were raised on the basis of Minimum Wages Act and industrial labour laws. The meeting was chaired by transport committee Balya Borkar.Deputy Commissioner and transport manager Rajesh Mohite, Arun Piprude, Ravindra Page, Yogesh Lunge, Vinay Bhardwaj, Sukir Sontakke and bus operators were present during the meeting.
