Students from Maharashtra preparing for various competitive exams in Kota, Rajasthan are stuck as all the transport facilities have been stopped due to the lockdown.
It is assumed that nearly 2000 students are stranded in institutions of Kota for which the Maharashtra government along with Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) have decided to send 100 buses to bring the students back onto their home ground.
The Maharashtra transport minister Anil Parab has informed that the buses are currently being checked and will be departed in the next two days.
The students will be brought back to Dhule first; from there they will be sent back to their respective cities.
An arrangement of coronavirus check -up has also been arranged by the state government, in which the students along with their parents will be put under a 14 day home quarantine for the safety of other citizens.
