Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test to Start from July 4

The CET Cell of Maharashtra has announced the dates for the MHT CET 2020 exams in a notice released on the official website. As per the information, Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test, MHT CET will start from July 4 and conclude on August 5, 2020.

The exam will be conducted on July 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 13, 14, 28, 29, 30, 31, and August 3, 4 and 5, 2020 across various test cities of state and in some cities outside the Maharashtra.

The MHT CET examination will be conducted separately for PCM and PCB groups. It is expected that the time table for PCM and PCB group will be announced by mid-June after the validation of MHT CET Test Centres across the country will be completed.

The exam was earlier scheduled to be conducted in April but postponed due to the spread of coronavirus in the country. The exam conducting authority has not announced any dates for the release of MHTCET 2020 admit cards but it is likely that the hall tickets will be available to all the candidates who have registered for the exam before the last date of application. All students must download and take a print out of the admit card from the official portal of MHT CET 2020 as without it they will not be allowed to appear in the exam.

The entrance test will be conducted in two sessions each day, morning session between 09:30 to 12:30 and afternoon session from 02:30 to 05:30 pm. The paper will be conducted online. Candidates are advised to visit the official website of MAHA CET – mahacet.org – regularly to get the latest updates on exam.

Maharashtra Common Entrance Test or MHT CET is conducted for shortlisting candidates to offer admission to BTech programmes in all the participating colleges.
