Even after all the health measures have been taken care of by the municipal corporation teams, and even when the lockdown has been implemented with strict rules, by the central and state government, people around city are seen roaming without any fear of the global pandemic of novel corona virus.

New achievers
As currently the lockdown has been eased enough, the city though still has a high rate of positive cases. Worrying about the spread and preparing for the worst case scenario, the special branch of police has deployed 82 CRPF personnel.

The CRPF platoon will be deployed for four different zones, where 2 sections (1+7personnal each) at Sadar, Ambazari ps for zone 2,  for Zone 3- 1 platoon (2+15 personnel) at Lakdganj, Tahsil ps, Zone 4- 1 platoon (2+15 personnel) at Ajni ps, Zone 5- 1 section (1+7personnal each) at Yashodhara ps.

This decision has been taken to give a break to the city police troops, which were deployed earlier in the city and at the same time providing maximum police force on the festival of Eid.

“The CRPF platoon have been deployed to contain the spread of virus and not letting people come out on streets”, said Manoj Sutar, Police PRO.
