YCCE Gets NBA Accreditation for Six Under Graduate Programmes

Recently the National Board of Accreditation (NBA), New Delhi, has granted Extension of Accreditation to 6 Under Graduate (UG) programmes of Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering (An Autonomous Institution affiliated to RTMNU) (YCCE) namely Civil,Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering and Information Technology under Tier-I category for 3 years valid from 2020-21 to 2022-23.

Previous accreditation granted to above programmes was for 3 years from 2017-18 to 2019-20. YCCE is also a NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council, Bangalore) accredited institute with ‘A’ grade under autonomous institute category. Also under NIRF 2019 ranking it got 134th rank in the country. The three member NBA Expert Committee had visited the college recently and interacted with the administrative and academic officials, faculty members and supporting staff for assessment of teaching, learning and administrative/ academic processes.

They visited the college infrastructure facilities, support departments and also verified various documents. Expert Committee appreciated the efforts of Management for infrastructural developments, policies implementation for the benefits of students, faculty and support staff. The committee expressed satisfaction over teaching learning processes and suggested the need of focused efforts for improving quality of research and publications.
