Former MLA of Katol Assembly and MHADA Speaker Mr. Sunil Shamraoji Shinde (86) passed away while being taken to Katol for treatment on Thursday morning.
Shinde was close to NCP President Sharadji Pawar. He was the MLA of Katol Assembly for ten years from 1984 to 1994. He also served as the Speaker of MHADA. For this, there were many agitations on the streets and in the winter session of Nagpur.
Shinde started the education in Katol-Narkhed taluka by establishing Shinde Shikshan Sanstha in the year 1990. The revolution in the field of education changed the lives of boys and girls and provided employment opportunities to many.
