Sigh of Relief for Students, Nagpur Varsity Declares No Fee Hike in Colleges This Year

A sigh of relief for the students of RTMNU as  the management council of the Nagpur varsity declared that colleges won’t be able to hike fees by any means this year.As per information, the management council of the university stated that the students and their parents had suffered huge financial loss after the  COVID-19 pandemic and the subsequent lockdown.

Earlier, the Nagpur University Teachers’ Association (NUTA) had written to the university management in this regard.During the meeting of management council, the university administration put forward that there should be no fee hike this year.If the fees increased,it would affect many families.Hence the proposal clearly stated that there should not be fee hike in any manner this year. And the members of the management council unanimously decided that there would be no hike in fees this year.

As per the proposal approved by the management council of the university,if a student fails to pay the fees in time, the college won’t be able to cancel his/her admission.Besides, the colleges would also have to allow payment of fees in installments.
