100 Percent Attendance during Examinations, RTMNU Teachers Express Displeasure

After the Maharashtra government ordered to maintain 100 percent attendance during the university examinations, the teachers associated with Nagpur University expressed their unhappiness. After the Covid-19 pandemic situation, the university examinations throughout the state are going to be conducted online. The teachers have asked if the examinations are conducting online what is the need to maintain 100 percent attendance.

The Higher and Technical Education department of the state government has issued a new ordinance on September 18.It is said that 100 percent attendance should be maintained in universities and colleges during the exams. The final year examinations are scheduled between October 1 to October 31.The results will be declared in November. In view of the government order, colleges have asked teachers working online from home to report to duty immediately. And teachers expressed their concern regarding their safety as the entire teaching staff to sit together and work and this will create a dangerous situation for the wide spread of Covid-19 and they also pose the question who will take responsibility if they get affected by the virus.
