The second capital of the state continues to witness its upward climb on COVID cases, However, on November 27, the city reported a slight increase in the number of recoveries, but still it remains less than the fresh cases. Today the city detected 457 fresh coronavirus positive cases taking the cumulative number to 110789.
The death count remain constant with 8 people succumbing to the infection in the day. After today’s data the total count of fatality reached to 3636. From the total deaths 2521 deaths from the city and 622 from rural and rest 493 from out of Nagpur, an official release said.
After the fresh updates, the total active cases has once again touched the 5k mark as the city now stands at 5002 positive cases including asymptomatic cases advised for home isolation.
Meanwhile, 262 persons became free of the infection in the day taking the cumulative number of recovered cases to 102151 (including 56902 home isolation recoveries). With less recoveries the recovery rate is also dropping down, today it stands at 92.20%.
Today’s 457 positive cases were reported from various hospitals.
AIIMS (19), GMC (105), IGGMC (26), MAFSU (22), NEERI (36), RTMNU (58), Private Lab (153), and Antigen (38).

Rural (1), City (6) and out of city (1).
