Nagpur Auto and Engineering Cluster to Commence ops in One Year

The Nagpur Auto and Engineering Cluster which would be commissioned in the next year would give boost to the industries at Hingna, Butibori, Kalmeshwar and other industrial estates. The point to be noted here is that MSME Ministry has given positive node to the auto engineering cluster CFC under MSE-CDP scheme. The cluster would have 716 micro and small industries.

Many ancillary units doing job work of Mahindra and Mahindra, Ashok Leyland, Ordance factory, Boeing, MRO, Dassault would pitch tent here.The various industries inside the cluster would do work like fabrication, manufacture steel furniture, SPM auto parts and engineering products, perform electric engine servicing, machine, sheet metal works and also manufacture control panels. The facilities of the centre would include CNC terminal centre, VMC-5, axis wire cut machine, laser ct machine, design and design training Centre. Director of the cluster said it would provide high quality service at low cost. Narayan Gupta further said that setting up of CFC within the cluster would promote industries and also enhance productivity, business, employment and exports. The productivity would go up from 7000 mt to 8.500 mt.Similarly, turnover of the cluster would jump from 130 mt to 163 MT, and such clusters exist in Mumbai, Pune, and Aurangabad.
