Passenger services are operational between Sitabuldi Interchange and Lokmanya Nagar Metro Station upto Hingna Depot & Sitabuldi Interchange and Khapri Metro Station upto MIHAN Depot. The train operates with the help of 25000 Volts, which passes through the overhead wires on the Metro track.
The manja used in kite flying could get stuck in the overhead wires and lead to accidents involving the person responsible for kite flying.
Citizens in general and kite flyers in particular are requested to desist from indulging in kite flying near Metro routes. This could lead to kites and manje getting stuck in the overhead wires and hence mishap. This could also lead to disruption in passenger services.
