After the nuisance created by the passengers the Maha Metro has lodged a complaint against them at Sitabuldi Police Station under Section 59 and 64 of Metro Railway(Operations Maintenance) Act 2002,Sections 34,149,188,268 and 294 of IPC and Section 13 of Gambling(Prohibition) Act.
As per information, the revellers who took disadvantage of ‘Celebration on Wheels’ drive by gambling on board metro coach and also tossing on eunuchs. As per the complaint, on January 20 some people under the drive ‘Celebration on Wheels tried to defame Maha Metro by indulging in unsavoury activities. The five persons identified as Shekhar Shirbhate, Rahul Kolhe and Prashant Pawar of Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan organisation. As per the source, FIR will be registered after preliminary investigation.
