Recently Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU) has honoured its eight teachers as the best ones. Dr Subhash Chaudhari, Vice Chancellor presided over the function while Pro-Vice Chancellor Dr Sanjay Dudhe was guest of honour. Every year, the university honours teachers in various categories including Best Principal, Best Teacher, Best Writer and Best Researcher. This year, Senate Member of RTMNU and Dronacharya awardee Vijay Munishwar was honour in special manner. Dr Om Mahodaya, Principal of Bajaj Science College, Wardha was honoured with Best Principal. Dr K G Rewatkar, Associate Professor of Dr Ambedkar College, Deekshabhoomi and Dr Santosh Jaju, Professor of G H Raisoni College of Engineering were adjudged as Best Teachers.
The award of best researcher was given to Dr Nishikant Raut, Assistant Professor with Post Graduate Department of Pharmacy, RTMNU; Dr Subhash Kondawar, Professor of Physics, Post Graduate Department of Physics, RTMNU. Dr Ganesh Chavan was adjudged as best writer. Every year the best Principal receives award in the name of Dr R Krishnakumar. This year Dr Krishnakumar award was conferred upon Dr Arti Moglewar, Principal of Shri Sant Gadge Maharaj Mahavidyalaya, Hingna.
