Maharashtra, Bengal storm into final

Maharashtra set up a title clash with Bengal entered the final in Koshish Premier League T-20 Cricket Tournament for Physically Disabled at Vasant Nagar ground, here on Wednesday.

The final will be played on Thursday at Vasant Nagar ground at 9 a.m.   
In the semi-final, Maharashtra drubbed Madhya Pradesh by a huge margin of 129 runs.

Batting first Maharashtra amassed 257 for six in 18 overs. Opener Ravi Patil top-scored with 62 in 30 balls hitting 11 boundaries. Ravindra Sante also batted well and scored 58 in 20 balls hitting five sixes and four boundaries. Captain Vikrant Keni (43) also batted well.

For MP, Rajesh Gurjar took two wickets whereas Gopal Singh and Ramnivas Gurjar were chipped in with one wicket each.

In reply, Madhya Pradesh could able to score 128 for five wickets in 18 overs. Yogendra Bhadoriya and Akash Yadav scored 29 runs each while Gurjar remained not out on 23.

Batting hero Sante bowled well and captured two wickets. Sachin Harishchandra , Ravi Patil and Kalpesh Gaikar got one each.

In the second semi-final, Bengal defeated Bihar by 88 runs. Batting first Bengal scored 128 for 7 wickets in 20 overs. Hanish Kumar (29*) and Joyesh Parnar (24*)  remained unbeaten.

In reply, Bihar were all out for 40 in 8.5 overs. Only Asit Kumar Singh (10) managed to cross the double digit.

For Bengal, Joyesh Parnar claimed four wickets for three runs while Surjit got three for 17.
